Corners Global presents its AI- and digital-twin-based passenger monitoring system for Incheon Airport, drawing a positive response from attendees

Seoul, South Korea — June 30, 2026 — The Corners Global team led an international webinar hosted by the Digital Twin Consortium (DTC), presenting the technical architecture and field results of the Airport Passenger Tracking and Flow Management System deployed at Terminal 2 of Incheon Airport. The session drew strong interest, including more than 370 registrants from organizations worldwide.

The Digital Twin Consortium (DTC) is an international organization dedicated to advancing digital twin technologies through collaborative ecosystem partnerships. Solving Critical Airport Congestion Through AI and Digital Twin Technology

The hour-long session featured a joint presentation by Corners Global leadership and technical leads, walking attendees through the core motivation and real-world performance of the system. The presentation addressed a fundamental public safety challenge: overcrowded transportation hubs pose severe security and operational risks, as long queues, bottlenecks, and sudden surges can rapidly escalate into hazardous incidents. To mitigate these risks, Corners Global combined artificial intelligence with 3D digital twin technology to give Incheon Airport operators a live, intelligent view of terminal passenger movement — monitoring crowd flow in real time, predicting congestion formation, and enabling proactive intervention before safety risks materialize.

Built for Scale, Proven in the Field 

Presenters highlighted how the system was built to scale efficiently across existing infrastructure. It extends across approximately 6,000 existing CCTV cameras spanning Incheon Airport's Terminals 1 and 2, as well as 330 stations across the Seoul Metro network, all without requiring additional camera hardware. The underlying model also takes a privacy-first approach, avoiding reliance on real passenger footage. Field deployments at both sites have shown strong, consistent performance, with the system reliably tracking passenger movement, predicting congestion, and delivering timely guidance to operators in real time.
