CORNERS Attends SingCham 'Made in Singapore' Networking Event, Accelerating Singapore Market Entry
CORNERS joined its first official event as a full member of SingCham Korea, engaging with Singaporean business and government representatives at 'Made in Singapore'.
Seoul, South Korea — August 6, 2026 —CORNERS participated in 'Made in Singapore,' an event celebrating Singapore's National Day, marking its first official event as a full member of the Singapore Chamber of Commerce in Korea (SingCham Korea). Having announced its membership in SingCham Korea last May to signal its intent to enter the Singapore market, CORNERS accelerated that plan by taking part in this event.
SingCham Korea and the 'Made in Singapore' Event
SingCham Korea is an organization established to serve as a bridge between Singaporean and Korean businesses, with the Singapore Ambassador to Korea serving as honorary patron. Built on four core pillars — fostering networking, providing quality business services, representing member companies, and contributing to CSR initiatives in both countries — the chamber aims to build mutually beneficial business relationships between the two nations.
This year's event was held to celebrate Singapore's National Day, taking place on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Conrad Seoul. More than 200 people attended, including SingCham Korea member representatives, business leaders, and diplomatic officials, with the event opening with remarks from the Singapore Ambassador to Korea.
On-Site at the Event, and CORNERS' Networking
During the networking session, CORNERS had the opportunity to engage with SingCham representatives and numerous figures from Singaporean companies, introducing the company's vision. Attendees represented a range of sectors, including Singaporean government agencies, real estate, hospitality, and space-related businesses, and finance, advisory, and professional services. CORNERS took note of government agencies such as STB, EDB, and Enterprise Singapore, as well as companies including Keppel Investment Management and JustCo.
CORNERS Global CEO Sungwon Shin said, “Being able to meet Singaporean companies together in one place under the auspices of the Singapore Chamber of Commerce, in celebration of National Day, was a meaningful opportunity for our entry into Singapore. Building on the connections made at this event, we plan to accelerate our expansion into the Singapore market by actively leveraging the business matching and introduction benefits offered by SingCham Korea.”
CORNERS Business Lead Linda Moon said, “We will continue to maintain our relationship with SingCham and actively participate in networking events to build our business foundation in Singapore.”
